I got spoiled in high school
English and World Literature were a blast
Enriching my thirst for excellence
But it went by too fast
Chorus: Is it wrong to prefer the classics?
Am I a literary snob?
Reading is recreation
It should never be like a job
The Odyssey, Beowulf, Sense And Sensibility
Will always reign supreme
Please don't awake me
From this literary dream
