Rat Racing

Rat Racing

Going down to the city
Going down by train
Going down to the city
Got a lot on my brain
Southbound traffic is all quite thick
Take the subway instead, now that's the trick
Rush hour or two, well that's no news
I've been doing it so long, it's giving me the blues

Chorus: Racing with the rats
Being chased by cats
Rat racing...ooohhh...rat racing

Fat rat watch the cat
It's your neck he's looking at
Your days are numbered
Several or few
Rush around real fast or today will be your last

Chorus: Repeat

Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver....TORONTO
That's the place to go
Let's live there and help it grow
Intimidation, aggravation, future shock
You know it's much worse when you live in a flock
Urban expansion-agricultural contraction
Dig up the sand, pave the land
Food, who needs it?
Ah, we can eat...well...

Chorus: Repeat and fade
